By accessing or using the Solar System Design & Calculation Platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may require you to accept these terms when you create an account or use certain features.
The Service provides tools for designing and sizing solar photovoltaic systems, including equipment management (panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, cables), location-based calculations, and financial estimates. It supports OnGrid, OffGrid, hybrid, and telecom (telecommunications) power system design. Results and recommendations are for informational and planning purposes only and do not replace professional engineering or installation advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for other reasons we deem appropriate.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not: use the Service in any way that violates laws or third-party rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data; upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation; scrape or automate access beyond normal use without permission; or use the Service to send spam or misleading content. We may monitor use and take action, including termination, for violations.
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, software, and algorithms, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. You retain ownership of data you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that data to provide and improve the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Calculation results, sizing recommendations, and economic estimates are estimates only and may not reflect actual performance, costs, or regulatory requirements. You are responsible for verifying results with qualified professionals before making decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred currency units if you have not paid us.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
